Global survey on the use of fetoscopic procedures for the treatment of TTTS, CDH and MMC

27 April 2022

As part of a bachelor's thesis, a global analysis of the number of fetoscopic procedures performed in various international centres and countries is being carried out at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland. The aim is to assess the development and current use of fetoscopy for the antenatal treatment of the medical indications twin-totwin transfusion syndrome, congenital diaphragmatic hernia and myelomeningocele. As part of this project, a global survey is conducted on the number of fetoscopic surgeries performed and the issues related with iPPROM.

Gabriel Haupt, Student in Medical Engineering at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, would be very grateful if you or the responsible professional in your organisation could assist him and this project in raising awareness of this new and important treatment method to help babies and mothers. If you are interested in supporting this project and sharing your knowledge through a ten minute survey, you can access the questionnaire by using the following link. https://surveyhero.com/c/fetoscopy-survey
