This two-day meeting will bring together an international network of clinicians and scientists working on inflammatory placental disorders, with a particular focus on chronic histiocytic intervillositis (CHI), villitis of unknown etiology (VUE) and massive perivillous fibrin deposition (MPFD). The meeting will run from 13.00-18.00 BST on Wednesday 5 October and from 10.00-17.30 BST on Thursday 6 October. It will take place in a hybrid format, held at University College London (UCL) and also live-streamed, to ensure that those who cannot travel to London can still participate.

Invited speakers will discuss controversies in the diagnostic criteria, immunological basis and treatment of these conditions, with a focus on novel techniques, recent research and opportunities for international collaboration. There will also be patient perspectives and presentations from early-career researchers.
