This conference focuses on meeting the national maternity safety ambition to halve rates of perinatal mortality by 2025, and ensure adherence to the Saving Babies Lives Version 3.2 Care Bundle.

The conference will focus on the updated elements of the Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle Version 3.2. There will be an extended focus on Element 6 covering the management of pre-existing diabetes in pregnancy for women with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes who are known to be 4-5 times at risk of losing their baby. Through practical case studies and learning from lived experience the conference will support you to improve practice and save babies lives.
The conference will also reflect on the findings and learning from the National Maternity Investigation which is currently ongoing and the new Maternity Outcomes Signal System (MOSS).
