SUMMARY:Acute Medical Problems in Pregnancy for Physicians

DESCRIPTION:Two thirds of all maternal deaths are the result of indirect causes such as heart disease and neurological conditions\; there has been no significant decrease in the number of indirect maternal deaths over the last ten years. \n\nThe day will focus on a wide range of medical complications which can affect pregnant women and aims to help physicians and GPs of all grades develop their familiarly with these problems.
