DESCRIPTION:Advanced Fetal Anomaly Scan Course\, Valencia 2027 is a two-day hybrid educational course dedicated to fetal ultrasound\, prenatal diagnosis and fetal medicine.\n\nThe course will provide an in-depth update on first-trimester ultrasound assessment\, fetal echocardiography\, 3D/4D ultrasound techniques\, fetal brain pathology and urinary tract anomalies. The programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical demonstrations and expert-led discussions.\n\nKey topics include:\n\nroutine first-trimester assessmentreferral scanningearly fetal echocardiographyultrasound red flags for syndromic disorders across all three trimestersdetailed evaluation of the fetal heart\, from normal anatomy to disease.The programme will also cover 3D/4D volume acquisition and navigation applied to the fetal brain\, spine\, heart\, face and first trimester. Fetal brain pathology topics include abnormal fetal head size\, intracranial cysts\, haemorrhage and posterior cranial fossa malformations. Urinary tract anomalies covered include ectopic kidney\, dysplastic kidney\, hydronephrosis and bladder/cloacal exstrophy.\n\nThe course will be led by an international faculty of specialists in fetal medicine and prenatal diagnosis\, including Prof. Rabih Chaoui\, Dr. Valentina De Robertis\, Prof. Oliver Kagan\, Dr. Carlos Corrales and Dr. Marisa Borenstein.\n\nThe programme is designed for healthcare professionals involved in fetal ultrasound\, prenatal diagnosis and fetal medicine\, including obstetricians and gynaecologists\, fetal medicine specialists\, prenatal diagnosticians\, sonographers and other medical professionals working in the field.\n\nParticipants will benefit from live scan demonstrations\, expert-led discussions\, interactive Q&A sessions and practical insights into the diagnosis of complex fetal pathology. The course will take place on-site in Valencia\, Spain\, with online participation available. Participants will have access to course video recordings for 60 days.
