National Level Clinical Excellence Awards applications (England and Wales) ACCEA - February 2012 - update on 2012 Round
In Dec 2011 the ACCEA announced that it had been informed by the Minister that an announcement on a new national awards round in 2012 would be made as early as possible in 2012. They also stated 'We understand that there will definitely be a renewals round'.
As of Feb 2012 the ACCEA announced that they were still awaiting an update from the minister.
Scottish Clinical Leadership and Excellence Awards
We have previously supported applications to the Scottish Advisory Committee on Distinction Awards. As of 2010 this committee changed to the Scottish Advisory Committee on Consultants’ Clinical Leadership and Excellence Awards (SACCCLEA). The scheme is known as the Scottish Clinical Leadership and Excellence Awards (SCLEA). The 2011 awards round was frozen with no new awards made, this will continue in 2012 with no new awards and no progression through the scheme.
