The 18th Annual British Maternal and Fetal Medicine Society conference will be held in the vibrant city of Birmingham. Taking place at the ICC, one of the country's leading venues at the heart of our second city. The ICC is located just a 10 minute walk from the Birmingham mainline rail station (New Street). This state of the art venue will provide the perfect setting for an exceptional 2016 meeting, following on from the success of London 2015.
The Clinical Conundrums were well received last year and this year will tackle thyroid disease in pregnancy, what to do with a big baby at term, management of the growth restricted fetus at the limits of viability and the dilemmas in managing women at risk of preterm labour. We will also be hosting a Global Health Symposium as well as a broad range of international plenary lectures.
Abstracts are be accepted so please visit the Conference website for more information and to submit http://www.bmfmsconference.ukevents.org/abstracts/
The conference dinner will take place at the exquisite Botanical Gardens where "DJ Tony", the resident BMFMS disc jockey, will once again be in action complemented by after-dinner entertainment not to be missed!
The Conference will conclude with the Society Lecture given by the President of the RCOG, Dr David Richmond, no doubt addressing some of the key issues raised by the Cumberledge Report.
Birmingham 2016 promises to be a hugely enjoyable and educational meeting. Put the dates in your diary now; submit you’re abstract and register to attend!
