2009 ACCEA applications
We would like to inform you that ACCEA plans to open 2009 Award round in Autumn 2008 (date to be confirmed) if you wish to apply for an ACCEA Bronze, Silver or Gold award.
The 2009 online application forms are currently under construction; therefore the forms attached reflect the 2008 version. There will not be any material changes to the 2009 version and candidates will be able to copy and paste their work from the Word version into the online version without difficulties. You will be able to submit online ACCEA application form at http://www.advisorybodies.doh.gov.uk/accea
If you would like BMFMS to submit a citation on your behalf please send us a copy of your submitted application form by the 14th of November 2008.
Please note that it is likely there will be a significant change to the process this year:
In the past, Bronze, Silver and Gold candidates have been offered the opportunity to submit a supplementary form with their application instead of completing the corresponding domain on the application form. These forms have been in the areas of Research/Innovation, and Teaching/Training and it has been left up to the applicant to choose which, if any, they wish to submit.
For the 2009 round it is likely that the Management/Leadership form will be added to the selection. The new arrangements are expected to be as follows:
· Bronze or Silver candidates may choose to submit ONE of the supplementary forms below with their application form.
· Gold candidates may choose to submit up to TWO of the forms below
Should a candidate choose to submit a supplementary form, the corresponding domain in the application form must be left blank.
As mentioned, the addition of the management form is not yet confirmed. As soon as this happens I will inform you all.
